Moga Buddhist Museum was established to develop Korean traditional woodworking arts and Buddhist arts. This museum has been committed to the culture business as a professional private museum since the enshrinement ceremony of the Maitreya Triad Grand statue in the outdoor exhibition site in June 1994. The museum holds traditional Buddhist culture classes and annual exhibitions for the development of Korean culture. It also introduces Korean Buddhist materials and invaluable data on woodworking crafts to the public. It has many projects planned to restore Korean traditional arts.
DRAULI BHAI :
The town of Drauli Bhai is sacred to the memory of the sixth Prophet of the Sikhs, Sri Guru Hargobind Singh Ji, Two important Gurudwaras, Kirtan Sohila, commemorating the death of mata Damodari, the consort of Sri Guru Hargobind Ji and another marking the birth place of the Guru's eldest son Baba Gurditta are located here. There are some relics connected with Guruji, like the loh' a round disc of iron on which chappatis are baked, a wooden box of the time and 3 hand written documents which are on display at these holy places. Multi-National Swiss Business house 'NESTLE' manufactures a wide range of food specialities here, including the famous NESCAFE.
MUKTSAR (OLD NAME KHIDRANA) :
45 Kms. from Faridkot named after the 40 'Muktas' - the emancipated ones, who had deserted Guru Gobind Singh during the battle of Anandpur Sahib but, taunted by their womenfolk had rejoined Guru ji and died to the last man in the battle of Khidrana.
Tuti Gundhi, Tibbi Sahib, Rikab Sahib, Dattan Sahib, Tamboo Sahib, Dukhbhanjan Sahib, all these Gurudwaras commemorate incidents from the life of the tenth Prophet. Maghi fair, one of the biggest draws in Punjab is celebrated annually here in the month of January.
CHATTBIR ZOO :
On Chandigarh-Patiala highway. It is the largest zoo which simulates natural habitat of the animals and birds in the northern India. A deer and lion safari are attractions of the zoo.
GHURAM :
Ghuram, a village in Patiala District, reputed to be the home town of Mata Kaushalya is replete with ruins. At Sheikh Bhikhan's Shrine which Nearby stands an old fort to the south of which is a garden surrounded by a pucca wall adjacent to which is a large tank.
NABHA:
Old Palace of Nabha is, now, converted into a Government College. The royal Guest House and High Court Complex have become parts of a Public School. Hira Mahal, the residence of the ruling family, now, houses antique cars, the walls of its main hall have enchant murals . Horlicks, the great English manufacturing house has a big set-up here which produces Horlicks and ghee (clarified butter) which are renowned.
